Terms & Community Rules

Comrade Affairs is an independent entertainment platform for University of Eldoret comrades. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or managed by the University of Eldoret.

Stories, confessions, comments, and submissions are user-generated. Comrade Affairs does not claim that user-submitted stories are factual, verified, or endorsed by the platform. Users are fully responsible for the content they submit.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By using this site, creating an account, or submitting content, you agree to these Terms, the Privacy Policy, and the Community Rules.

2. Independent Platform Disclaimer

Comrade Affairs is independent and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or managed by the University of Eldoret.

3. User-Generated Content

Users submit content voluntarily and are fully responsible for their submissions. The platform does not guarantee truth, accuracy, or completeness of user submissions. Publication does not mean endorsement. The platform may edit, hide, remove, or restrict content at any time.

4. Prohibited Content

Strictly prohibited: cyberbullying, harassment, threats, hate speech, defamation, false accusations, naming or identifying private individuals without consent, phone numbers, private contact details, registration numbers, room numbers, addresses, private identifiers, private photos or videos, leaked content, revenge content, non-consensual intimate content, sexual content involving minors, exam leaks, impersonation, blackmail, extortion, incitement to violence, malware, scams, phishing, piracy, unlawful downloads, and any content violating Kenyan law or applicable law.

5. No Cyberbullying / No Targeting

Comrade Affairs is not a tool for attacking, humiliating, threatening, exposing, or targeting any person. Any submission intended to bully, shame, defame, intimidate, or harm another person may be hidden, removed, and may lead to account suspension.

6. No Real Names Rule

Do not include real names, initials that clearly identify someone, phone numbers, photos, room numbers, hostel room details, class registration numbers, workplace details, or any information that can reasonably identify a private person.

7. Moderation Rights

Submissions may be published immediately. The platform can edit titles, categories, formatting, and identifying details; hide or remove content without notice; and suspend or delete accounts that abuse the platform. Moderation does not create a duty to verify every statement.

8. Reporting and Takedown

Harmful content can be reported through /report. Reports should include the content link, reason, and explanation. The platform may remove or restrict reported content. Urgent reports involving threats, minors, private images, or personal information are prioritized.

9. Account Responsibility

Users must keep login credentials safe, must not share accounts, must not impersonate others, and are responsible for activity under their account.

10. Account Privacy

Accounts use usernames and passwords. Public posts show Anonymous unless a user explicitly chooses to display their username.

11. Ads and Third-Party Services

The site may show advertisements. Third-party ad networks may use cookies or tracking technologies. The platform is not responsible for third-party ad content, external links, or external websites.

12. Limitation of Liability

The platform is provided for entertainment and community discussion. Users submit content at their own risk. To the fullest extent allowed by law, the developer/platform owner is not liable for user-submitted content. The platform is not responsible for disputes caused by users submitting false, harmful, or unlawful content. The platform may cooperate with lawful requests where required.

13. Changes to Terms

Terms may be updated at any time. Continued use of the platform means acceptance of updated Terms.
